Shopping for what to wear for this date can be mind boggling.  You want to make a good impression, but you don’t want to seem to formal or under dressed.   What you choose to wear will depend on where you will be going or what you will be doing.  If your date involves a movie or a walk on the beach, casual clothes are a must and perhaps sandals if the weather is nice.

If you will be going out to dinner and then a club to dance, you don’t want to be over dressed for dancing.  Hygiene is always important so be sure to shower, wear deodorant and maybe a new hair style to top off the look.

If you are older and end up in the dating world, you have to be cool. Men are looking for younger women and women may be looking for younger men (you know, the cougar effect). This makes women feel like they have to look younger, thus plastic surgery and botox. Today you have to be very liberal and open minded because anything goes. Of course, men have it easier, they just have to get in shape and wait for the babes to arrive. Swinging and “girl on girl” are the “in” thing today, so like I said, men have it made.

If you are younger and dating, many people may think this is the greatest time of their lives, where just about anything goes; but it may be scary for some. Actually, some young people today are more conservative and don’t really want to be in the “swinging in-crowd”. STD’s are at their highest levels ever, and unless you are very selective about your partners, be careful.

There are some good things about dating in today’s world, however. Today, same sex dating is very well accepted,
