Growing kids would have varying fashion styles. You surely cannot continue choosing and buying clothes for your children for the rest of their lives. Even your toddler could already have his own preference in what clothes to wear – just watch your daughter squirm uncomfortably when you put that frilly lace layered dress on her or observe how fuss-free dressing up time is when you put that cotton jersey on her. Clearly, your daughter is already making her choice felt. Playing dress up is also almost always part of a child’s growing up years. If you are the type of person who loves designer clothes, you are more likely to pass such preference to your kids. There are many designers that specialize with childrens fashion. But these come with price tags that may be more costly than the ones available for adults. You must only indulge with this extravagance if you can afford such. This may not be a wise investment because the value of your clothes will diminish as these become worn out through time.
With the current situation of the economy, you must first weigh out the pros and cons of your every decision. This includes buying designer clothes for your kids. Will it be worthy to spend so much for your children who may only be able to use the expensive clothes for a year or less because they are still growing? To help you think things through, here are some of the pros and cons of this move.
The main pros would be that you will be assured of the quality of the clothes that you will buy. Even if your kids will only be able to use them for a short time, these clothes will last and may still look good even after they no longer fit your kids. But you also have to be careful in washing such clothes to make this happen.
The cons include the high price that you have to pay for these clothes. Your kids do not know the value of the money that you paid in able to purchase such. You cannot tell them to stop being kids just so to protect the clothes from being damaged.
